How to get your SS Number Online in the Philippines:

In this time of digital transactions where we avoid traffic and long lines as much as possible, we turn to online transactions to actually transact our businesses online. Government offices such as SSS and others have opened their possibility to make it easier for us to interact with them easily online.

Getting an SS number is as easy as ABC online, follow these steps:

1. Go to SSS Website: www.sss.gov.ph

2. Scroll down and click Apply Now under "Apply for an SS Number Online".

5. Your SS Number will be displayed, you can also print with your SS form, SS Number Slip and Transaction Number Slip.

6. Check your email account for your My.SSS account activation link and check for the lists of required supporting documents:

If married, bring a copy of your Marriage Contract/Certificate

If with child(ren), also bring a copy(ies) of the Birth Certificate(s)

For Non-Working Spouse, your working spouse must sign before his/her name         on the printed ePersonal Record Form.

The signature will signify that your spouse agrees with your SSS membership.

7. Show the E-Center personnel at the SSS Branch your transaction number slip and supporting documents.

8. Go to the UMID Card Enrollment after the instruction of the E-Center personnel.

Important Reminders:

The SSS membership status of the registrant will remain "Temporary" until they submit the necessary supporting documents to the nearest SSS Branch.

The registrant's membership status with SSS will change from "Temporary" to "Permanent" once required documents are submitted.

Only individuals with "Permanent" membership status will be eligible to apply for loans and benefits (if they meet the qualifying conditions) and for a UMID card (provided they have at least one posted contribution).
