Since everyone that's either applying for a job or for any other requirements, everyone of us needs to get an NBI Clearance in the Philippines. The process is easy and hassle free, here's how to get one.
How to get NBI-Clearance:
For first-time job seekers:
Under RA 11261, first-time job seekers do not need to pay to secure their NBI Clearance, you just need to first secure a Barangay Certificate from your barangay indicating that you are indeed a first-time job seeker.
1. Visit this link (https://firsttimejobseekers.nbi.gov.ph/)
3. Make sure to use an active email and active mobile number, this is needed for account verification.
4. After logging in to your new account, click "APPLY FOR CLEARANCE"
Here is the list of IDs that are accepted by the NBI:
Valid Passport
Voter’s ID
Driver’s License
PRC License
SSS ID
GSIS UMID
Postal ID
School ID
TIN ID
PhilHealth ID
Alien Cert of Registration
Senior Citizen ID
Birth Certificate (PSA Authenticated)
Birth Certificate (PSA Authenticated)
Previous Copy of NBI Clearance
Note:
Barangay Clearance and Company ID are not accepted as valid IDs in processing for NBI Clearance.
6. Schedule your appointment date and the NBI Office that you want to transact for your NBI Clearance.
7. You can pay via Gcash/Bayad Center/7/11/ECPay/Visa or Mastercard/etc. or any other money remittance center (Service Fee may be charged.) Depending on the NBI Office you selected, you still can pay onsite thru the cashier.
8. Take note of your Reference Number, you can take a screenshot of it or write it in a piece of paper. This number will be needed when you transacting for your NBI Clearance.
9. On the day of your appointment, make sure to bring with you your ID Selected for your verification plus any other accepted IDs incase additional verification is needed. Also do not forget to bring with you your reference number.
For NBI Online Clearance (For Renewal Only):
For NBI Clearances that are issued from October 16, 2016 onwards, you can opt to have your NBI Clearance renewed online and shipped it to your door.
(Note: Additional shipping will be shouldered by the individual renewing)
1. Visit this site (https://clearance.nbi.gov.ph/)
2. Under NBI Clearance Online Renewal, click "CLICK HERE"
3. Make sure you still have your OLD NBI ID (from your expired NBI Clearance), and the phone number you used to register your account.
4. In case you forgot your OLD NBI ID, or you lost your expired NBI Clearance, you can still recover it via the Recover NBI ID option. As long as you still have access to the phone number or email address you used the last time you renewed your NBI Clearance.
5. After you supplied the information needed, you can choose what platform you'll use to pay: Bayad Center/Gcash/Mastercard/Visa/7/11.
6. Your will be given a reference number, you will use this number to pay for your NBI Clerance
7. Click Proceed to Payment
8. After, you'll have the option to Pick-up your NBI Clearance or have it Door-to-Door Delivered.
For Pick-up:
A notification will be sent to your email once the clearance is ready to be picked-up
Releasing hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday
Releasing Area: Releasing Section, Ground Floor, NBI Clearance Annex Building, U.N. Avenue, Manila.
Note: Authorization letter is needed when the clearance is to be picked up via a courier service. Electronic Receipt or Printed receipt should be submitted when picking-up the said NBI Clearance.

For Door-to-Door Delivery:
You will be redirected to a third-party delivery company, you will need to supply additional information needed to process the shipping.
After that, you are good to go, just wait for your NBI Clearance to arrive at your doorstep.
